The radiation pattern describes how an antenna transmits (or receives) energy in 3D space, and is often the most important electrical characteristic of the antenna. Measuring antenna radiation patterns often requires specialized facilities and test equipment. In this session, we'll discuss the important aspects of the facilities and equipment used to measure antenna radiation patterns, and the community of technologists who make it all possible.
