Overview
IEEE Region 6 hosts a diverse array of events throughout the year, connecting professionals, students, and volunteers across the Western United States. These events span leadership training, technical symposia, and community outreach, and include Operating Committee (OpCom), Executive Committee (ExCom), and Area meetings. Region 6 also actively collaborates with industry leaders and academic institutions to deliver impactful programming. Examples include Rising Stars Conference in Las Vegas, hackathons and other startup events that Region 6 partners with startups and companies on innovation and entrepreneurship. These collaborations help IEEE Region 6 advance technology, foster professional growth, and inspire the next generation of engineers.
